Andrea Jayne Doherty

Clinical Reflexologist & Reiki Practitioner

I'm a Clinical Reflexologist and Reiki Practitioner. People often ask me why I became a reflexologist. The answer is simple – I genuinely love these therapies and what I do. Working within the NHS and various health & wellbeing roles for many years shaped my transition into complementary therapy.

I'm delighted to now be able to share my passion for these wonderful treatments with you. Whilst working in palliative care, I saw the benefits of reflexology and Reiki first hand. This was supported by my own personal experience, which inspired me to train as a practitioner so that I could offer these benefits to others.

My journey began over 30 years ago. At that time, reflexology was still relatively new, but after leaving my very first treatment I was literally floating, feeling deeply relaxed and at peace. I later discovered I had been unknowingly pregnant at the time, making that memory even more special.

Since then, therapies have remained an important part of my self-care. They help me pause, reset, and step back from the daily grind. I have found so much value in having a dedicated space to slow down and reconnect.

I believe our bodies are amazing, but we have to care for them. That means giving ourselves permission to invest in our own self-care, health and wellbeing.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. If you're ready to experience Reflexology and/or Reiki, I would love to hear from you. Remember self-care isn't a luxury - it's one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, because you are worth it.
